Okay, I have been away from my external blog for a while, but I’ve decided to spend some time back out here again. I’m just getting a few things set up. There’ll be a few changes in hosting (I’m again hosting my own blog rather than using wordpress.com). I’ll post full details, including new rss feed addresses, soon.

Thanks and shred on!!!

RTP Week 2 Review

•January 18, 2009 • 5 Comments

I was certainly glad of a rest day (from training).

Decided to have my first reward today. I replace Meal 4 (Chicken & Tomato) with a delicious “mini icecream”. 162 calories of dark chocolate coated creamy ice cream. It was rather small, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I decided that this reward meal should reduce my compliance by a point. The reason being, I’m not being 100% compliant. Reading module 5, Adam eludes to this when talking about gradually increasing compliance over the 12 week period. Here he states that 1 weekly reward meal reduces Overall Meal Compliance to 97.50% during that week. Ask yourself another related question… If you don’t take a reward meal (as I didn’t during week 1) – do I award myself an extra point? Hmmm, I guess there may be differing opinions over this and I’d love to hear them.

Week 2 in review. I have really made an effort to “stick to the program” and have been highly successful. I’ll admit there have been times I have been tempted, but it is my PRWs that keep me from giving in to these cravings. A good PRW is a powerful thing! I have found (as read on other blogs) that being prepared is key and I haven’t yet had a day where I haven’t been prepared. Getting food ready is getting easier and part of my nightly routine now.

In the two weeks I’ve dropped 10 lbs. Some of this was left over water weight from Christmas. I expect the next two weeks to be somewhat less of a drop (hoping around 4-6lbs). I have dropped 3% in bodyfat and lost a total of 5 inches from all my measurements (not sure about the accuracy of my measuring).

Current Cumulative Compliance is 97.86%

1 Week into RTP Transformation System

•January 11, 2009 • 4 Comments

Today marks the end of week 1 on the RTP Transformation System. I have enjoyed it immensely and have seen some good results this week. The next three weeks should almost mirror this one and for this reason I know I can increase the intensity. There were a couple of time during my training I knew the weight I was using was too heavy or too light. To heavy and you can’t get the desired reps out (this is not a strength training phase) and too light and you can get the reps out without the intensity required. While I have done extremely well with my nutrition, I will tweak it slightly for week 2. I will be adding a night time shake (just before bed) and a post-workout shake on weight training days.

Cumulative Compliance: 68/70
Cum. Compliance: 97.14%

RTP Transformation Begins Today!!

•January 5, 2009 • 2 Comments

Hi Everyone.

Apologies for lack of posts here. I have been concentrating on the new ShredderSphere 2.0 forums/blog where I have still been posting daily. I will continue to focus on this site and will post progress updates here.

My RTP Transformation starts today! January 5th through to March 29th I will be taking the RTP Transformation System for a full test run. I expect nothing mare than big results from this one! My goal is to complete the full 12 weeks with more than 95% compliance. I will be posting weekly summaries of my progress here on my WordPress blog. If you want the detailed reports you’ll have to purchase the RTP Transformation System and join me in ShredderSphere 2.0 🙂

That’s about it for today. Stay tuned next week for my report on a MASSIVE first week.

Day 414: Day 43 of 53 – December 21st 2008

Day 414

Day 414

My Day

Decided against ESE. Eating was okay today, but not as clean as it could have been. I’ve sort of gone on the back burner with my nutrition for the past few days. This usually happens to around Christmas. However, I’m extremely pumped about my next 84 day mission which will be taking the RTP Transformation System through it’s paces. I’ve decided to take the nutrition plan for a test Monday and Tuesday of this coming week. I’ll prepare a low calorie day for Monday and a refeed day on Tuesday. I’ll let you know how it goes. As well as this, I’m going to do Day 1 and 2 of the training program Monday and Tuesday.

I will not be posting on my WordPress blog until next Sunday. I have decided to do weekly updates here and continue daily posting inside ShredderSphere 2.0. This is really in preparation for taking RTP System through, I can talk openly about the program while protecting Adam’s hard work. So, stay tuned for a weekly recap of what’s been going on in my world next Sunday.

Day 410

Day 410

My Day

Still working out the final details for the audiovisual fitouts of two lecture theatres. The quotes came in a bit more than expected, so I’m jostling to get the best deal for our needs. There’s a bit of politicking going on as well.

Everything else seems to be progressing well considering the time of year. This time is dominated by Christmas functions and other such get-togethers. I thought I might get through unscathed, but that has not (and will not) be the case! 🙂

I’m still training with full intensity and hitting the gym 4 times per week.

Plans for following the 12 week RTP Transformation System are still progressing.

M1 – 2 scoops protein
M2 – 2 scoops protein, 2 slices pumpernickle bread w/ honey
